Boss Seat

Do not go with any style Boss seat other than the conventional unless you are a mountain rider or stand 90% of the time. They are very narrow and uncomfortable on the top even the widetop.

Jim

I am a 5'7" tall owner of a BOSS High Rise and don't find the seat at all uncomfortable. As for it being narrow I don't notice it. I like the narrower seat due to the fact I don't feel like I have been riding a frickin Brahma Bull at the end of the day. Here's the side profile and top profile.

Edit; I added a picture of the sled to show the additional under seat insulation and and one to show the tank bag still fits.

FYI, The high top wide top BOSS is no narrower then the Apex or Nytro seat. Feels good to me and makes for ease of movement.

Jon, save a lot of bucks and add a few inches of foam to your stock seat. The highrise is pure boy racer or mountain seat. IMHO

Jim

It's pretty simple to do and even if you take it to a pro, it'll still cost alot less.

SEATQ

I put one on my 03 RX1 last season and it wasn't that hard I got it from This site for 300.00 and I Love it it has made riding not such a pain in the A#$
I rode my 97 Vmax and it has a 2000 seat on it and I felt like I was riding marshmellow plus if your tall or long in the legs it makes standing up much easier I've had some whoopdys come up fast and it was able to react much faster and with less effort I feel it has made me more in control of the beast ha ha I love it I would spend the money again I had a fitment problem it was to tight up against the tank I called boss an Guss sent me a ups pick-up order I was very impressed with there customers service they said if the seat was okay to ride, then ride it and send it back after the season, then they where willing to change the color and anything to make me happy I didn't even buy it from them very cool I say buy it, it looks better and it is as lite as a feather you'll think the box is empty installtion isn't hard however put the seat on and make a template for putting the riveted snaps on you plactic peaces this will insure you get them in the right spot ..Boss  :yam: :drink:

I am going to be using boss seats on every sled I own....but they will be the tanker seat. extra gas capacity in any sled is a great help....
