Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, been around on the 2 stroke site for a while but this year I just upgraded to a 2005 RX-1, with the 121" skid. My question is the guy I bought the sled from had two additional aluminum plates welded (one on each side) of the slide rails because there was a crack starting in the aluminum. To do so, he removed the rubber bottom out bumpers from the middle of the bottom rails.
Does anyone know of a width adjustable bumper that I can fit on there ? or does it even require one ? I'm not sure what would happen to the parts if the suspension bottoms out without the bumpers.
Thanks, appreciate any feedback.

There is a kit he could have purchased from yamaha for this but he must have done a home fix type of thing. If you are bottoming out get a big boy spring. Other than that to put some rubber dampners on there without seeing it you are on your own.
