I just bought some bottom line carbides. They say they are for the Nytro but the studs are too big to go through the metal stock spacer. Is this a big deal to take the spacers out? It looks like there would be considerable slop in the carbide. But I do not know. Do I bring them back or try and use them?

I would drill out the spacers if you dont want to return the carbides. If theres slop in the carbide studs they will break off or spoil your skis

My buddy did this with a Viper I sold him. He tried to drill out the hole in the ski & couldn't figure out why it wouldn't drill..........until I convinced him to pop out the aluminum bushings & put em in the drill press. They'll just spin if you drill them in the ski..........

I returned them and got some shapers with 7.5" carbide. A bit to much I think. I was able to take corners with the stock ones much faster then these bad boys. I guess I just got used to the push and accounted for it. These just take the sled where you point and now it is tough keeping that inside ski down. I should have went with the 6" or less. I tell you though, they work really well in the soft snow and have much better control.
