Springs will not make it bouncy. The springs hold the weight and allow the weight to travel up and down thru the stroke of the suspension design.
The shocks are what supress the oscillations of the springs.
The guys spring has 10,000 miles on it, it's finished not doing its job at all. In turn the spring ain't holding the weight. Change your spring to a new one, get your shock revalved at a shop where someone knows what they are doing. And you will be good to go.

10k miles is nothing for a spring. Think of it. How many times have you changed the springs and shocks on the cars or trucks that you drive??
Bounce control is all in the shock that's they are called shock absorbers.
If the suspension is sagging then it could be either broken parts, worn out bushings or the springs could be bagged.
If you are bouncing more than Dolly Parton sliding down a flight of stairs on her butt then you are in need of new or rebuilt shocks.

10,000 miles is nothing, Yeah. Just get your spring checked I can bet the same spring rate is beyond its intended use cycle. And for your info not all shock and springs are the same, ie; Ford Excursion change shocks at 30,00o kms as per Ford. And comparing automobile shocks to snowmobile shocks is just ridiculous, you aren't jumping your car?
Are you : )
