Ok. read up on break in period of the 4 strokes but first time doing it. NO snow in forcast so it will probably not be riden until I go to the black hills on Jan 23. Got a 13 xtx and not sure if I should leave it stock for the trip or mod before I go with Excell header, Schmidt bros air box mod, cherry bomb slip on and a PC5 of course. Can't see the harm in throwing on my toys but what you think?

You should be fine with those mods.
There are lots of different opinions about break-in proceedures, however I feel that the most important thing is to allow the engine to go through various heat cycles/engine loads.
