Breaking in sled with cr10ek's

I picked up my first 4-stroke this past fall and have a quick question.
06 Vector gt o miles. I picked up a set of cr10ek plugs after reading alot of posts here about the hp gains, should I use these to break in the sled so its broke in using the plugs I will be running, or should I break it in
using the stock plugs? Thanks for the help!

From what I hear go ahead and put em in. I am in the same boat and leaving this Friday for it's first trip. I actually opted not to put them in, I was under the gun yesterday studding it and skegs and ran out of time. They'll go in during the oil and filter change.

Good question. I put mine in after 100 miles. Can't see what it would hurt. That's all the milage I have this winter!!!! I also changed the oil since the next time I ride will probably be a 1000 mile trip.

Aren't the cr10ek's too cold for the 3 cyl.? I know they come stock with 1 range warmer plug than the RX-1's did. CR8E vs. CR9E, right?

which would be better to run cr10ek or cr8eix which is what ngk suggest

I ran cr9eix's in RX-1 before I heard about the cr10ek's. The 10's feel better and I've never had a problem with them. I've got 2 full seasons on the set in there now.......although I do take them out for summer storing & starting.

no the crs 10's are aren't too cold for the vector on the dyno the vectar actuaslly gained 2.2 hp.I ran them back to back on the aspahlt asn the sled ran slightly faster with them.
