Has anyone else had a problem with breaking control rods? I have an 03 rx1 and have broken both rod's with just over 1000 miles on sled. They both broke where they mount to the upper idler's.

Yep, most everybody with 03's experienced that. Get yourself some 04 rods - they're thickened up where needed.

might want to take a good look at the entire suspension also.
we replaced a broken transfer rod in my buddies 03-rx1 and in the process discovered a few other problems like a bent /broken w arm and some tearing on the inside of the track.
Cant hurt to look.
