Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any experience with the C&A MTX skis? I do a little trail riding but I need them for flotation riding in power and off trail. Do these skis dart on the trail? And are they good off trail? I would think they would be since they are 8" wide.

Have them on my apex MTX, hands down Amazing in powder, I can stop and very slowly turn and she don't dive her sink down at all. I love them. I have a 6 inch carbide on them now. And I think it's to aggressive for the ski, so next year I'll go with a four inch round one. On the trial I like them a lot, they do tend to dart a bit but it's manageble. I paid 500$ them.

i have ran both c&a and slydog and imo slydog is much better hands down for flotation and trail i found the c&a very dart but may be different on different sleds i have 8" slydogs on our race vipers as you can see in my profile i run them on all my sleds second to none once again just my opinion

Not to high jack the thread just one question I'm looking for skis next season also how do the three compare slydog, curve and c&a for mainly aggressive trail riding?

Do the slydog skis create heavy steering?

Run 4 inch carbide here on both sleds and its very lite steering. They are made for the powder but also great on the trail to.

Steering is always lite with one or both skis are in the air! Haha.

So no darting on the trail? How about push?

No , neither of our sled have that issue. Key is getting your skid dialed in. Lots of info in "just the facts" for rear skid help
