C&A pro trail SKIS test!!

Well i got to try my new (slighty used) black and blue C&A skis this past weekend..

They came with very worn 8inch carbides...

All i can say is WOW ...... They dart way more than the stock skis but the sled now handles on rails .....IN fact i have to let the limiters out some becaust they bite so hard i cant get them to turn very easy!! (very hard)

I have the front springs lowered 5 turns each and now i have NO skilift or body roll!! Infact the track gives out befor the skis will!! I had it up to 80+mph on a wide bend on the trail and it was on rails!! Very close to my old viper!!

Only bad thing is compared to the woody dualies i had, the new skis dart all over the place!! the woodys didnt dart at all but they would easily be overcome in corners..... i think they get snow packed between the carbides in turns...

But i also dont have the correct mounting kit so ...when i get new rubber bumpers it might help the darting..

WHO WAS IT THAT TOLD ME WHERE I COULD GET THE MOUNTING KIT FROM REALLY CHEAP?????

I think the stock skis sit too high and cause the sled to act tippy!!

GET THE C&A PRO SKIS... THEY WORK!!

JUST INSTALL A SINGLE DUALLY RUNNER ON YOUR LEFT SKI. THATS ALL YOU NEED. THAT WILL ELIMINATE YOUR DARTING AND PROB IN THE CORNERS. YOU DON;T NEED MUCH SKI PRESSURE WITH THE C&A. THAT IS PROBIBBLY WHY YOU ARE GETTING SO MUCH DARTING.

welterracer: You should check your ski alignment. The RX-1's have been known to come from the factory set wrong. if it's off you'll have that bad darting!!!!

It never darted before the skis..

BTW... thanks for recommending the skis too me...

get the corroect adaptor kit from c&a $12.00 each i think.i put on some razors with similar results.but no darting.
