Hey guys:

I keep hearing about a c clip adjustment for the mono shock.

Where is it....and what needs to be done.

I guess I should have read the manual.

The c clip is under the collar that adjusts the spring tension. You have to compress the spring on the shock and slide the collar forward to reposition the clip in the two other optional grooves.

Its on #1. Yes it can be done with the shock still in if you have something that will compress the spring. However its not that hard to just take the shock out.

I just rode 450 plus miles this weekend. I had mine set on the 3rd clip #1 on cam and it sat better. But the handling was less then desireable. Very tippy and alot of seesaw action even with weight transfer set low. I had to move it down to the 2nd clip on cam#7 to return to good handling. But it now bottoms and I need the "fat boy" spring. Stock position was clip 1 cam#4.
