So I am puzzling over something with regards to the orientation of the rubber grommet in this kit.
My understand and common sense says that if the ski's are off the ground, the tips should go up somewhat.
However with the grommet installed as described here:

the ski tips will point down.
I was hoping somebody can help me understand why my common sense is leading me wrong?

CA pro grommet is a joke. You need to shim them a lot, or even better modify original.
