Can i change my clutch weights with the clutch on the sled

Yes you can and you are correct (harder).

If the spring your installing is a long one is can sometimes be difficult on the sled.

Is it possible to do the clutch on the sled. Just the same as doing it on a bench just a bit harder???

I do not have a clutch puller

If your talking about changing the weights on your Primary, you can just remove the outer 6, 10 mm bolts on the clutch and remove the fingers that hold the weights (rivets) and then drill out or grind to remove and replace weights.

What's your objective?

On the stock clutch you just remove the 6-10 mm bolts and then you can remove the clutch fingers and remove and install weights(rivets) and change the springs ;)! Watch those nylon spacers between the fingers 8)

be sure you line the X on the cover and the body when putting it back together so it stays balanced.

;)!

One more thing

I need the torque specs for the primary main nut and the secondary and the secondary helix bolts and the primary weights

ANyone help thanks

Primary Clutch torque

Remember...there is a first and second for the primary....

Here is how:

1. I beleive 85 to be correct....please confirm first.
2. Back off bolt (loosen completely)
3. Tighten only to 43 ft/lbs
4. Done.

first torque should be 85 then 43. 112 will break the bolt. hope you get this in time. junkie

So i did not take the clutch off put it on with the impact well at about 90ft lbs.

So u torque it to 85ft lbs then back it off then re torque to 43 ft lbs

what about the secondary?
