I found a 121 RX-1 cheap and am wondering if I can make it into a Mt. RX-1. Is there any difference in the two sled except for the suspension and the tunnel extension? Any info will help a lot, I am going to buy one the first of the week. Thanks.

You can do it ,you need to buy a 151 mnt. skid, track & tunnel brkts. I know I did it. Running broad may be different , but the holes are all punched in the tunnel & install mnt. bars . Taking mine out WY sunday I hope the thing is not a pig in the deep stuff

You also have to change the drivers from 9 tooth to 8 tooth ext. thats if you are going to use a paddle track And install a tunnel ext. I have a hartman www.hartmaninc.com its better looking then factory ext.

and the ski stance is a bit different and the skis
of course you know about the clutching
great way 2 save money ;)!

depends on how cheap the RX1 121 is. The whole conversion will cost quite a bit. The track is an expensive one, tunnel extension is probably a hundred bucks, the modifications to the tunnel, then the rear skid. It all adds up to quite a few benjamins.

Have you looked for a leftover or slightly used mountain?

Me too, running 9 tooth wahl drivers with a 2" track and still have room.

Missed out on the 121. I bought a 151 Mt. today. Took it out for my first ride on a four stroke tonight, and love it. My turbo will be here on Friday. May need some advice on setting it up for a radar run on the next weekend?? Thanks.

I can make it a 136,144,151,156,162,166, whatever you want, even 16" wide, add our skid and exhaust, 9 tooth stock drivers, because a rx1 will spin out maverics, and you just wont believe how it will climb
