Just checked the Yamaha accessories and apparel online catalog and it looks like most everything has gone up about 7%. The helmet I pre-ordered in April at $329.95 is now $352.95. Same for Yamaha crew jacket. A quick check of jackets, bibs, Duponts, Tuners, carbides (tuners and Deuce) luggage etc reveal the same or larger price increases.I bet they'll blame it on our now sub-par Cdn dollar.

probably still cost you more to buy from the us with the conversion rate its at now, plus duty at the boarder.. that 7 perent is probably less then what you would pay in conversion and duty together.. i try and find as many canadian dealers i possibly can before going to the us..

I buy from the US on a regular basis (just came back from Ogdensburg today in fact) and yes, there are some things that the price difference is not that important now except on some things. I just bought a pair of boots from Port Yamaha for $125USD. OK, they were on liquidation but they are kickass. And I think the price difference on sleds is still pretty bad but they can't sell to us. Some things are only available from the US, like track extension kits. If you can have stuff shipped to a US address and go pick it up, it is still worth it.

I think they can. It just costs a lot more and will negate any savings.
