When trail riding my RTX, the skis are always in the air, which makes it noncontrolable. What can I do to help this and keep my rear suspension stiff?
you have to mess with the weight transfer set it to spec and you will beable to plant the front end when you hit the throttle

If this is occuring when coming out of the corners, loosen the front springs and pull down the limiter straps. This will lower the COG, allowing you to corner flat without making your steering any heavier.
I can't take credit for the above as this is the advice from LazyBastard. His advice is normally spot on.

I had the same problem with everything set at dead center. I went 1 click stiffer on the rear spring preload and 4 turns on the transfer rod. For now the skis stay planted but alot is going to have to do with where you sit on the seat. the farther forward the more mass you add to the equation and your wight has alot to do with it. Im only 175 so I dont add as much mass when slid forward as a 200+ guy does. I would try this before moving the limiter straps. Im not saying those guys are wrong but you change other characteristics buy changing limiter straps that will affect ather aspects of the ride. These settings can also be changed in minutes on the trail & reversed without time loss.

Yamaha recomend that changing the limiter strap is the last adjustment you should do on the mono shock suspension. You will eliminate your ski lift by adjusting your control rod. The stock setting between the outer nut and the control rod shaft is 45mm is you want less weight transfer turn in the adjuster (reduce the gap) minimum length should be 35mm don't reduce more than 35mm. Try this and it will rail. I ran mine both ways and there is a huge difference.

I have the opposite problem.
I was on a bare lake and I cannot get the sled to hook up. The rear suspension does not seem to squat. I adjusted the transfer rod to full transfer. The track would just spin until 80mph and then lift the skis 2 feet in the air.
