Glad to hear Hali forest is great, too bad the mild spell/rain coming is going to ruin it

If the little shock icon doesn't appear when toggling through the mode button, it's likely that your shock wire is broken, or solenoid is bad. Happened to me. On mine the solenoid went, but it's common for ice build up to break the wire lead.

The wires break on them all the time. On the RTX with the adjustment on the tunnel, the cable breaks. I set mine where I liked it then when I noticed the cable was broke I took the cable out, I never used it and it was just gunna break again.
Not sure about your current issue. Its hard to know without looking at the sled and without any snowmobile experience you can't really tell us if its acting different or not. Your best bet is to catch an apex rider and ask him to ride it a little and see if its acting different. Then you'll know if you're just hearing the drone or if you have some kind of issue. I can't think of anything that would cause the symptom you are describing but its possible...

ok took it out to the trails again today. my buddy with an apex came as well. we switched sleds. he said that there is a bit more vibration with my sled but not much and the power seems identical.
he suggested maybe checking/changing the plugs...
thoughts?
cheers

if ur gonna change plugs i highly suggest cr10ek plugs they work great they actually are supposed to add 2hp

Yup changing the plugs is not a bad idea. I think if your buddy didn't seam to think there was anything wrong with it then its probably normal. A plug change wouldn't hurt and definately go with the cr10ek plugs as long as you're doing the work, might as well get a little edge...

the extra vibration could be the stud install.
