carbide choice for vector

My wife also rides a Vector and like most everybody wants the easiest turning sled she can have. First two seasons went with Woodys dooley's and it was o.k. Last season went with the Stud Boy deuce bars and made a big difference for her. Make sure the skis are shimmed to start, I softened up my wifes front shocks so the arms are level to the ground. Now if you want to make her absolutely silly giddy laughing at how easy a sled is to turn and handle put a set of Pilot 5.7's on with stock bar on the outside and shaper bar in the middle. Absolutely night and day difference of ease of steering compared to stock. Just a thought for her for next year. My wifes getting my pilots and I know I'll be in her good graces for some of the season. Think snow!

I've had decue bars on my nytro for two seasons and the work great at reducing darting. However, I find that they push in the corners with aggressive riding. I'm trying snowtrackers this year.

The only thing I will say is my wife likes deuce bars better then doolys on her vector. What I think is more important is the fact you are going to do something before her firstride. 3 years ago took my wife to the u.p. for the first time with nothing done for darting and off to the dealer I went to by doolys before she even went 10 miles. I also have comunicators so I had to listen to how my sled handle great and the fact that I did not even think about hers.

apex gti rick, the biggest thing is she doesnt have anything on the skis right as the ones on there well only about 1/8" thick as the guy who had it didnt even pay attention i guess and almost worn them into the skis. im still waitng for s. bergstrom to call me as he said he was shipping her carbides out this week. go figure that i already put shimms on her skis over the weekend.
