Not having much luck with this on the side of the site.
Anyone put a Cat skid in a Yammi? I have a 94 v max 4 with a Bender Pro-Max rear skid I can't find any info on. I thought about putting a ZR skid in it. Also I have a 98 SRX that my brother in-law want to put the 144 skid out of his grenaded T-cat in. Any reviews or hints would be great.

I've run a polaris skid in the vmax before. One thing to watch out for, the vmax's had WIDE tunnels, so you will need to make up an inch or so on each side on the front mounts.

I have a 2003 Ski Doo Renegade 136" suspension I'm installing in a 98-600 XTC deluxe and have been asking questions for the past 3 months with little success.
I'm in the middle of a top end rebuild right now which will be done by next week after I get my new jug from U.S. Chrome.
Sorry I can't help you now but in about three weeks I will be starting the skid and will try to come up with some measurements for the V-max sleds.
Its the front holes I'm worried about. I have got no answers if I can use the original holes or if I have to locate new one's. on the back I know I will have to build some drop brackets.
My only idea for the front holes is to remove the shocks from the skid and mount it up to the original holes and cycle it through to see if it hits on any thing. If anyone has better suggestions please let us know

My understanding is you take the distance from the driveshaft to the front bolt on the doner sled. Then the distance from the top of the tunnel to the mounting bolts and the distance beteween the 2 mounting bolts from the doner sled and use these on the new sled.
That is probaly clear as mud

You are correct except I just bought the skid and don't have a doner sled to get the measurements from.
I have tried doing a search on here and on Doo talk with little luck. I have started a thread on Doo talk and only got some answers on the center to center of the front and rear arms.
When my 97 ZRT threw a stud and took out the front heat ex changer I parted it out but took the rear skid and placed it in a 91 Ski Doo MX for my daughter to learn on .
I took all the measurements from the tunnel of the ZRT and it worked fine. You can't believe how much better the ride was!
If hunting wasn't this weekend I could start on the rear skid and figure this out.
