I bought this skid off of SW
http://www.snowestonline.com/forum/show ... p?t=327007

pulled apart cleaned, greased, packed bearings installed anti-stab and painted
removed my OE 153 skid to install my 162 track and I think the cat skid is a 153
now what??? buy rails, extensions, set-back??
is there a measurement on for the rails?

It looks like a 162 to me. I measured my 2010 cat skid and the rails are about 65" from tip to tip. The 153 should only be about 60.

this thing measures 62 straight from frt to rear
17" from rear suspension rail bolt to rear tip

Snakebit:

My 153 measures 62" tip to tip and 16.5 from the rear suspension mount (on rail) to rear of rail so it sounds like a 153 to me....

They make rail extensions. Also, your rear arm doesn't look stock, but it might just be the picture.

The hole locations remain the same regardless of 153/162 on the AC. I wouldn't set back...it defeats the purpose of putting on a longer track.

OTM

I may be interested in buying 153 rails, but I am a cheap bastard looking for a deal.

LOL we would make a pair, thats how I ended up with the Cat skid I got
looked for a long time and bought this one
I beleive it is a 2007??
dont know if all the rails are the same mounting points from 2007 + ?
might just get extensions then I can switch between 153 in Iowa and 162 for out west.
looks like I am going to run the stock skid next week @ Snowies
