why does Star recommend a firmer spring in the center shock? How does this affect the handling? What can be done if the stock spring is left in?

When I talked to them they couldn't give me a good answer why or any recommendations on what spring would work. They said they needed to experiment more. I started with the stock spring and didn't think it was bad but later went with Hygear's Dual Rate spring with the crossover adjustment. The dual rate works very well with the relocate and with the crossover there is added adjustment.
