Central Maine is doing a pretty damn good job with what snow is on the ground. The wife and I stayed at Trailside Lodging in Abbot right on ITS 85. We hit the trails @ about 9am Saturday and it was great going. We stayed mostly south of Greenville because the trails were less crowded and were rewarded with groomed trails all the way to Dexter. Today 85 was freshly groomed again. On our way home this afternoon we noticed plenty of snowmobile trailers parked @ the rail bed in Newport. Good news Mainers!

The trail report looks pretty good. The area got snow before the rain and they're grooming. Nice! If anyone knows if you can still hit the rail bed in Newport please chime in.
