Can someone please explain to me how a apex manual reverse chain case works? I put mine back together the way it came apart and it does ot seen to operate properly. I am not understanding how the reverse works. :drink: :drink:

Did you make sure to slip the forks (attactached to the linkage on the chains case cover) inside the grooves on the bottom gear assembly? It is a bit tricky to do..as you have to look inside down inside the case and manipulate linkage as you are putting the cover on.

my bet it is the slip forks. Look in the FAQ section under how to change gears. There is a really good picture of what you need to do. Helps to disconnect the linkage so you have a greater range of movement (up) while sliding the case back on.

Been there, effed it up!! Check the forks. They are always a b&tch for me to get right. Bloody knuckles, swearing, some punches will usually get them in....or let it sit for couple hours, try again and sometimes goes right together. Weird how that works!!
