My drive sprockets will need to be replaced before next season so I'm going to install a 10 tooth sprocket set. I'm not looking to go faster I just want to reduce rolling resistance on my track and I already have an Ad Boivin skid with 8" rear wheels so the next step is the drive sprocket. I know this will give me more speed but will also affect my take off speed. I still have stock gears in my chain case and would like to change them for quicker starts to offset the larger drive sprocket. Any recommendations on what gears I should use to do this without changing the chain as well?
I almost forgot, I'm running a 2004 RX Warrior with 136" track but will be stretching it out to a 144" this summer as well.

my rx1 is stretched to 136 with the expert x,10 tooth drivers,8 inch rear idlers. have been running 22-42 gearing for years with this setup. my clutches are modded for overdrive, runs well. next year it will be 144, but will have to go back to stock 7 inch rear idlers.

With that gearing were you able to maintain top speed or did you loose some top end?
