I got a replacement bearing for the bottom bearing in my chaincase. It is full of white grease. None of the bearings I have removed from the case have any grease, they just have the chaincase oil in them.

Should this grease be removed or will it not hurt getting mixed into the oil?

I would clean it and blow it dry.
The white grease is just to keep it from rusting in storage.
Is it A big deal...probable not.

I've often let the high quality chain lube these bearings...I wouldnt bet on a problem...but since youre in there remove the lithium grease..

The bearing is installed with the seal on the chain side. Because of this you may want to leave the grease in there, so that is won't be dry on the first use. That or maybe clean it out, then dunk it in some chaincase fluid.
