Need help.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the reverse fork in place when putting my chaincase back on. I left all the linkages in place when I took it apart. Would that be my @#$%^& problem.

You need to have the linkage loose so you can swing the forks stright out from the case to gt them started in the gear. Maxdlx

This is what you need to do...
You need to disconnect your linkage at the part where it links to the pivot shaft (this is the part where there is a rotating shaft that goes straight down and is located on top of the chaincae towards the oil tank. To take it off, use a 8mm wrench on the joint, and a 10mm socket on top to remove nut.
As for getting the arm on, you have to have the outer cover about 2" from fitting in and use your hand insde the case to hold the arm up as you move the outer case forward. Its super easy to get the arm on is you rotate the cover towards the back and push the cover on. Once you try it, itll slip right on

If your still having trouble this link should help. It's for the top gear removal and has good pics of reassembly.

Take that flat L shaped bracket off that holds the linkage. Once that is off you can raise the forks higher.
I had the same problem last week and accidentally broke one of my reverse forks off. Just got the new parts in today and after taking off that bracket it was back together in about 15 mins.
