Anyone else have issues with getting the one torx thats by the footwell frame member out? Heat? It actually started out fine but emded up stripping and slowly using vise grips to get it out. Any recommended replacement bolts? Thanks what a pain in the #*$&@ and stupid design if I must say

Several people have replaced with hex head with success. Much easier to remove next time. Search should provide specs on the replacement.

Be sure to run a tap through the holes to clean all the old Loctite out. The new bolt will thread in much smoother and help avoid over torqueing and stripping.
