Besides the front end width, track, gearing and clutching what is required? Is the chaincase and position the same? Is the front torque arm location the same if I was to use a apex mountain skid? as i know the suspension will be different. Would like to be shorter than 162" but longer than 144" any recomendations?

Likely a 151" promountain skid might be an option to consider. I'm not clear on differences, but if you can get mounting points from an Apex Mtn and compare to your tunnel, shouldn't be a hard install. I believe the 151" promountain and 162" promountain mount the same, just shorter rails on one. I am taking an 04 RX-1 to a 153" Nytro skid and it's just getting your mounting points right and then gearing/clutching differnces. Some can live with the wider front, but if you choose mtn riding I would go with the narrow width arms from the Apex Mtn.
