Changing gauge pod (speedo) from miles to Kms

Does any one know if there is a way to switch the out put values on the gauge pod (the speedo/ Tach) from MPH - KMs - I bought an American sled but ride with Km/ h in Canada.

I imagine its some sort of fancy combination of stand on your head press two buttons then do this and that and presto by magic it would switch over?

Thoughts?

sled should be idling and on odo, then hold reset until it changes

did not work...

I held the reset button for almost a minute... and it did not switch over... I let it go for fear of causing a short ... Am I missing something here?

I believe it's in your owners manual. I don't have mine by me right now but I know it's very simple. I did mine last year, I switched mine from km/h to mp/h & it was a piece of cake! Sorry I couldn't help you more right now!
