Changing Vector's exhaust covers

Anyone know how hard it would be to put RX1 exhaust covers on a Vector?

I looked into it, you need to redo where the exhaust exits the muffler because it is different on the RX sleds

Anyone know how hard it would be to put RX1 exhaust covers on a Vector?

I chromed my 05 covers. Yo go RX style you would need to buy the covers and plastic surround parts and weld new pipes on the muffler. I think Cubby said just the carbon fiber covers are more than $60 and the painted ones are more. My chroming cost $60

Yamaha makes chrome covers now for the gt so you should be avle to buy them for the the nyto and vectors there the same.

That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping the exits were in the same location. It's ok the way it is, but I'm not all that fond of the V shaped plastic trim on the Vector. And seeing that the rear of the sled is what the brand X riders are usually looking at...
