no,losen up the screws on the hood,and just slide it back under the panel,it may fit tight until you losen them up.

Loosen up the screws on the hood? Hmm, take off the side panels too?

On the blue side wings of the hood..there are two black screws..remove them..the blue wing now lifts away from the hood enough to slide the tab in...replace screws
