I saw RX1/Vector hoods advertised in BC for around $300 CAD. Is that these? The advertising I saw said they were very durable and could be folded in two!!! Will have to dig through my notebook, I'm sure I have it written down. There was also a windshield option. What are they made of?? What colors etc. If I have to cut my stock hood for venting for the intercooler i am going to get a different hood instead.

no LB you dingleberry, I had one on my SRX, then on the Mountain SRX made by Ekholm. The ones you saw are Lexan slymax, these are fibreglass, color is gelcoat grey.
