Just a tip to all......I just completed studdin the freeride track and installing tunnel protectors. When installing the protectors we had to remove the exhaust, and found the gaskets (donuts) were toast, just like on the Apex's. Luckily we caught it now or else the Y pipe could have worn or cracked. There was fretting visible on one of the flanges.

There is about 2500 miles on the sled.............

Anyway, check them and replace or it will cost you in the long run!

i just pulled the engine out of my wrecked 07 phazer and the donuts were good, but the clamps were getting loose. mine had over 4,000 miles on it, and i did notice it getting loud over time. all that needed to be done was mod the clamp and then retorque.

6000 miles and still good here. Have had to tighten clamps a few times and a little mod to clamp like woolyviper.
