Folks:
Was wondering how you go about cleaning under the fenders, what chemicals you use (if any) to loosen the dirt/mud.
Someone suggested spraying degreaser underneath, but the ones I've seen are not to be used on aluminum.
Has anyone tried wheel cleaner? Currently I use soap and elbow grease, but wondered if there was a better method.
Thanks!!

I just wash mine after every ride. Sometimes I spray with WD40 or a teflon spray and it seems to come off easier. On my race bikes I used a mix of floor wax and water so the mud wouldn't stick as much.

When it's clean,I spray WD40 on all the fenders, underside and top and the mud won't stick to the fendersand makes it real easy to clean.

My wife and kids are not allowed to use the pressure washer anymore. I just can't afford that kind of "help" 8)

If it is a part that seals or moves I never use more than the garden hose without the spray nozzle. The wax or WD40 is always after the quad is clean and dry.

I usually stand mine up on the rear rack and spray it down with Simple Green and let it sit for a few minutes and then spray it off with water.

Do you have a back injury, or just a way to pick it up other than by hand?

Actually I just hold a large mouth bass to it's face and she just stands right up, then I tickle her belly.
I put the loading ramps down on my truck and pull the Grizzly up them just to where the tires meet the ramps and ground, put her in park, and then stand on the back rack and let the momentum bring her up. Easy as pie...
