Is that the same package as last year, with the 128" track and relocated skid...? In which classes are you allowed to use it...? I was under the impression the boys from Valcourt managed to get it banned in cross country racing...?

Yes its a whole new subframe
It resembles a Rev nun far more than it does a subframe.

I know there is a company supplying these to Yamha close to your location, and there are lot of these made to date from what I hear. Did you get your kit from them or Yamaha? I thought about buying one of these, but not till next years sleds come out
The weight savings and geometry of this front end is insane. It is supposed to eat up uneven surfaces like a monster, corner like a beast, and save a ton of weight off that front end you have now. I could only imaginme this front end with a new rear suspension? Talk about weight savings and handeling

I have no idea who makes these close to me but I did get it from Yamaha in order to race cross country this winter for port Yamaha totallyamaha and cor powersports privateer race team. The Ty race team will have the same sleds as the factory boys. I do know its lighter and way more awesome compare to stock.

Alatalo I will be racing in pro open this winter. The kit is only allowed in the open classes in the race circuits.

If I recall you save 22lbs and the geometry and strength is off the charts! Congrats

I'm only going by what the yamaha rep told me. Said replaces the whole frame, subframe, arms etc. He could of exaggerated but that's what he told me when at the dealer

Looks interesting, have to say, it just really boggles my mind why they wouldn't have released this on the production model Nytro. If its as great as everyone is saying, why not? They would have certainly sold more units instead of everyone waiting for next year knowing something must be in the works.

Unless next year there is a "clean sheet of paper" design.Just hope its lighter in weight. If not just produced the existing nytro with this new front end and let the consumer go from there trimming weight ourselves(battery, exhaust, etc).LJ 452 said:Looks interesting, have to say, it just really boggles my mind why they wouldn't have released this on the production model Nytro. You can carry the entire front end with one hand.

I can believe 20+ lbs, it is drastically lighter not only in the subframe, but the a arms and spindles as well. Also having adjustable settings in the spindle is nice.
