Hey Guys! Can ya help me out please?Last year I did not have this problem. The belt seems to be slipping alot when going slow.5 to 15 mph. When starting out the belt starts to squeal abit, also while going through the woods at a slow pace you can hear it.Everyone that has ridden with me has said something sticks! It is definitly rubber burning! The clutchs are stock. Why would this happen?Bad belt, weak springs I don't know. Thanks Honk

Your driving too slow, the belt is suppose to slip up to 20 mph, maybe you should be riding a mini Z
Just kidding about the mini Z.

It is normal for the belt to slip a bit at low speeds; I like Teds idea..
it’s just too tight a bend with no side pressure when moving along that slow….That’s just the way it is. All sleds do this.
Have you disassembled the driven clutch at all for cleaning….I pull my driven clutch every 300 -400 miles and clean it up….there is always a lot of crud in there…While you have the driven off set it back on the jack shaft without the spring and work it as if it was being loaded by the engine…this is just to check for any binding…also make sure it has that small bit of side movement that is supposed to be there…I would also pull the cover off the primary and work it back and forth without the spring, again just to see it it runs smooth…last thing…clean all faces with brake cleaner…spray it on a rag…not at the clutch……If everything looks good, maybe you have a glazed belt….I would try a different one but break it in for 20 miles or so….Oh also is the belt sitting up at the top of the driven?? If not your starting off in to high a gear....adjust the driven to bring the belt up.....anyways…..hope this is of some help to you…Good luck JD

After a ton of messing around with clutching set ups I have come up with a combo that runs cool & an incredible small amount of black stuff on my clutch faces. Run the silver at 80 degree twist for starters!!!

Turks clean clutch recipe?
I like the sound of that Turk.
Not big on cleaning my clutches before every weekend ride. [300 to 400 miles]
What is the rest of it?
Will this work on RX! and Warrior both.
I hope to ride my Warrior if we ever get snow.
TIA,
Dave
