hi guys just got some tools from a buddy they r maxx perforance tools
the center to center is perfect but the offset is a mile off it says 15mm on the offset tool is this the wrong tool or what if i take out all the shims and the step washer behind the secondary its good whats up with that

the offset is a range... depending on the tool you have (not familiar with maxx) the skinny part would go behind your primary sheave on the flat closest to the motor...the secondary floats and as long as it hits the thicker part youre okay...unless you wish to "lock" the secondary ...more for racers...then adjusting shims to the exact 15mm...
you should verify the desired offset for your model as there is slight differences over the years..

ya i got that its the step washer behind the secondary that i am wounder about dose it have to be there?

I believe it should...otherwise the secondary hub runs dry against the bearing..
