I am thinking about either the Ulmer kit or the Pioneer Performance kit, but that is a whole differetn thread. I wanted to know if I have to be studded to gain the performance from a clutch kit? I dont want to stud my sled so if I do need it, then I wont get either kit, but anyone that isnt studded have either of these kits on a 3 holer?

I left me track bone stock after adding a clutch kit. If you are going to be drag racing it on any hard pack I would add studs other than that i don't ever stud any of my sleds. Depends on your riding areas but the ripsaw hooks pretty good.
