Guy's, what is all the fuss about the clutch noise? This is not going to hurt anything. You make a 2 smoke this quiet and see and listen to what noises you here. Alot more than you do on our 4 strokes. This should be considered normal noise. I for one will spend my time and energy on better handeling and performance. By the way I have 350 miles on my Vector -ER and i will tell you WOW! What a sled. Awsom torq, wide power band, Exhaust note to die for, no smell, 18MPG and running hard. I will not be going back to a 2 smoke. :4STroke:

"DITTO" except the part where you have 350 miles.. I only have 60 miles.. But am quite pleased with the whole package. With my helmet on at idle I don't even notice the noise.. ;)! MM.

Once you hear one run with the clutch Shimmed you may be surprised
Some stock can be pretty noisy. I heard a guy comment when hearing
it "That can't be right " For me ,I like the Way they sound after the clutch
is shimmed . It for sure doesn't hurt to leave it stock. It's just a matter
of what you like. Besides it was an easy fix for me Well worth it.

When and if I ever need to take it in I'll have them fix it.. I do all my check-ups. But I never do clutches.. The dealer is 50 miles round trip.. And I really don't trust dealers. MM :ORC

I had mine shimmed. Now after 600 miles I can hear the rattle again.

I am just going to leave it this time.
