clutch setup phazer mtx MPI supercharger

I install mpi supercharger on my phazer mtx

can you help me with clutch setup

I ride at low altitude

engine make lot of over rev (12 400rpm +) and cut

-I try bigger rivet (2x 4.5g) from yamaha in the stock weight 8dn-17605-30 40g (total 49g) and same thing

no good result

-I install Schmidt Bros Motorsports stage2 kit (300$) with helix, front spring, and rivet (total 53g)

no good result

-after I add 1 tooth in chain case gear

no good result

-so I change secondary (yellow) spring position from b1 = 60 degre like said by Schmidt Bros Motorsports
and switch to c1 = 40 degre

no good result


so now the last thing i can do is to buy expensive weight from yamaha ?

if yes which one?

yamaha have listed for phazer in is optional part for primairy clutch
-68g ,3 holes 141$kit (all phazer) 8fp
-65g ,3 holes 203$ kit (all phazer) 8fs
-47g, 2 holes 139$ kit (all phazer) 8gc
-40g, 2 holes 152$ kit (MTX only) 8dn (mine now)


my first choice it's to go with 68gram 8fp-17605-00 ?

Try Allen Ulmer, he's excellent with clutching and can easilly get you fixed up!

I too would like to see an answer to his question. I seem to have the same issue but in reverse. Let me ask it again anyways.....what weights and spring are best for boosted Phazer?
