- 2010 Apex GT 121"
Hello all,
I am doing some work with both of my clutch on my 2010 Gt. The stock springs are
primary - yellow purple yellow.
secondary - pink.
I am told that the best primary one to use is blue silver blue (Yamaha part number 90501-551L9). I am also told that the best secondary to use is the white but Yamaha has 2 white springs for secondary. What one is everyone using?

Your stock primary spring is Yellow-Silver-Yellow.
A Blue-Silver-Blue primary spring will lower your top end RPM (likely lowering your performance, not making it better).
The Yamaha White secondary spring and White-White secondary spring are the same performance. The White-White is shot peened and supposed to be longer lasting.

SRxspec Are you Allen Ulmer? I have emailed you a few times but no response, when would be the best time to contact you?
Thank you for your reply. My primary spring on my 2010 apex gt 121" is a yellow-silver-yellow it looked like purple but when i looked again with a flashlight it is silver thanks. My Rpm are currently 1o,800 - 11,000 and from what I understand the sweet spot is 10,400 10,500. What would be the best spring to use for the primary in this case? Also do you recommend the white spring for the secondary?
