Well I did sled dogs airbox mod last year on my 03 RX1 and decided to do the clutching that is to go along with it. From what was posted here it is a stock 03 RX1 primary and a stock 05 Rx1 mountain secondary. I bought the y-s-y primary spring and the white secondary spring. I swaped out the springs with out any issues, but I am suposed to have 8fa-00 with 17.2 with hole & 17.2 rivets for weights for the stock 03. What I have is 8FP00 with rivets (with holes) in all three rivet holes on the weight. Not sure what weight the rivets are. It looks like the stock 06 attack/apex primary but the rivets have holes in them. I am assuming the 17.2 is the weight of the rivet in grams. Correct? It has excelent bottom end and mid range but top end is only 90mph but thats in 4-5" of fresh powder. Just snowed last night so there is no hard pack right now. It seems like a great setup for trail riding. It also has excelent pull in the deep powder on the lakes. I can get up to 90mph quite easily in the 12-14" of powder that is on the lakes. As long as I don't need the top end speed, it is a great deep powder and trail set up. I just have to decide if I want to keep it, buy new weights and rivets or go back to what I originaly had. Decisions decisions.......

Heavy Hitters work great with airbox mod, pulls hard all the way thru. I saw 123 on the speedo.

Stomper what is your wot rpm it shouild be 10200 to 10300. Your secondary should have 70 degrees of twist. If you cant get your rpm to 10200 then you need to lighten a bit if its too high you need to add weight.

It wasn't very good testing conditions with the 5" of fresh powder and no hard pack but from what I did see the WOT rpm was right in there at 10,200-10300. Acording to the manual for the 70 degree twist the spring should be in the 1 and 6 position so I beleive that it is correct. I will try a bit later in the week again when the powder is compacted down a bit more. It has great pull right through but I am thinking that I should get more top end but maybe the powder is keeping me fron getting it.

Did the hardpack test tonight. 100mph at 10,500. I am going to switch back to what I had before and do some more runs to compare.
