- 2008 yamaha fx nytro rtx
Hi to all! I am wanting to clutch my 2008 fx nytro rtx. I have never done it, but I did watch the video that is posted here on TY. I am not sure which way to go. Schmidt or ulmer? I would like it to almost be a plug and play. I am not so familiar with theory of it all but I did do some reading. I noticed schmidt has a stage 2 and ulmer is stage 1 with about the same parts. What's the difference and which do you think is the easiest way to go?

I have the Schmidt stage 2 and love it but I hear good things about the Ulmer also.

Was it difficult to install? Chris from schmidt bros says you have to drill out the rivets.

No, not at all but I have been wrenching on sleds for 20 yrs. If your mechanical at all you can do it. Tons of info on this site to walk you through it!
