went for short ride today & got a code 12, drove back home parked in garage, sled wont crank over. can hear starter relay clicking. checked battery & conections all ok. has this hapended to anybody.code 12, sled does not turn over

code12 fried starter!
had to order new starter it was fried at 10000km. i guess from trying to start it it fried starter relay.i know one thing that little ride i took sled pulls hard. thanks dude.

We have had customers unit which fail the opposite. Those relays fail causing the starter to stay on causing it to fail. You dont even know the starters engaged, some people catch it in time. They usually both need replacing. Glad you found it. Cheers. Shad
