So I got my sled out of the shed this weekend to take a quick spin. It started and seemed to run fine. As soon as I drove it a little bit, it would not idle down at all and started flashing code 37. Idle stayed way up close to engagement, right around 4000 rpm. Shut it off, tried again, same thing.
Called dealer, he said the idle control valve was stuck open. He said it was OK to ride and maybe it would unstick after riding and being warmed up good.
Rode it 40 or so miles Saturday and it still idles way high. What do I do now? Is this a simple fix or do I need to replace something? I'm assuming I'll need to get to the throttle bodies, but I don't know what I'm looking for or exactly what to do.
Any suggestions? I'd prefer to do it myself and not take it to the dealer if possible.
