2008 Phazer hand warmers? I recently installed a set of yamaheaters and they seemed to get warmer with the red light on at idle but not hot, at any other setting on the scale they did not seem to work. I was out riding yesterday and had them set to high and got a code 81 so I turned them off and restarted the sled to clear the code but now no heat even at startup with the redlight on. There is a black and orange wire with male and female bullet connectors taped together and I think it reads connect for upgraded handlebars, do these need to be connected together? Any help would be appreciated as I have a buyer lined up but don't want to sell anything not working 100%. Thanks

Get a hold of Rock and he will help you sort out what is going on with your warmers. I can say that the Yamaheater only works in one postion/setting to get you to full hot. Once you leave the lowest hand warmer setting you are back to the stock warmer operation. Rock provides the best customer service I have seen so please contact him and he will be more than happy to fix you up.

GB is right, unless you have the model with boost.

cold hand no more
I spoke with Rock yesterday and got them working, just needed to switch the orange and black wires around for that model and I found a broken wire in the harness, all good now. THANKS for the help. Rock and his company are the best! Very happy with the product and the customer service.
