Saw some posts on here a couple weeks back about a cold start update. That got me curious and I called up my dealer and turns out my sled fell into the serial number range that was eligible for this update (plus a ball joint update which I think is kinda interesting seeing as that seems like a critical suspension part and more in recall territory).
Anyways, I got a call today from the dealer saying they can't get the update anymore. They called Yamaha and they told them they didn't have anymore and they were discontinued???? So my question is, what did this update have as far as parts were concerned or what was done to perform the update and is there anyone around that happens to still have this update available for some unknown reason.
It's probably a long shot that anyone would give it up, but this is just grinding me since I feel it takes much unnecessary cranking to get the thing started and seems like Yamaha should have some available so that all sleds in that serial # range would be able to get the update. Guess I'm just a bit frustrated.

I'm almost sure they are feeding you a line of BS..because I was at my dealer about a week ago yesterday...and they were talking to a guy that had a 07 standard that they were prepping to do that update along with the fan.
