What compression should i have on a 05 rx1? I'm getting 115-120 lbs, is this acceptable?I'm blowing out serious oil out the 3 external vents that i added after i installed the turbo. ruined my weekend and just trying to find out what the f#@k IS WRONG. READY TO SET FIRE TO IT....

That sounds too low. I think a stock motor should have between 180-210 lbs.

I think he must of meant 215psi to 200psi
I had 180psi all of last year across the board, after puting it on the EGA machine we saw I has very low C.O. levels. Now I'm running 225psi across three & 221psi on cyl #1.
If you are running that you have some ring trouble there, or a seal gone.

Bountyhunter how did you get your compression up again ?Mine is 175 across the board.

My '03 thats puking oil at the rate of a qt. every 100 miles gave readings of aprox. 150-160 across all cylinders.
When you checked the compression, did you 1. Hold all of the vacuum operated valves open on all the carbs? and 2. Hold the throttle wide open? That would give false low readings if you didn't.
