anyone know what the conditions are in cochrane ontario like, ofsc site does not give detail like it used to

right now they are excellent but they are gonna get that mild spell thursday and friday,then back to cold saturday,i hope they hold up,we are leaving monday for a 7 day trip in that area

Travelled Kirkland to Hearst , 2 weeks ago .
After Butler Lake all was awesome , just some thin area's south of there!
Up to the canyon was great!
East to Quebec / Lasarre area very thin base maybe 6" .
Rouyan 6" base , rocks very thin.

just came back today from that area,earlton to kirkland lake was ok,but anything north of kl right up to cochrane- hearst is excellent,lots of snow and trails are in top top shape

sounds like you had a good one in Cochrane , I was going to go to Gowganda next week but things sound iffy over there , I think Cochrane sounds like the place to go for the last run of the year

i didnt even make it to gowganda this year cuz of lack of snow,i do know that earlton to elk lake is excellent,

I'm at Elk Lake currently and have been out for 2hrs, may be looking at heading back home. I would of gone to Chochrane but couldnt find accomodations we were looking for. Less than 800kms this year for us, not good!
