Conrol rod adjustment question

Hello, I'm new to this site and to Yamaha and need some help understanding the control rod. If more threads are exposed, which end gets the transfer? Does it transfer weight to the track or to the skis. The manual just says increase transfer or decrease transfer and I don't know which end gets the transfer. Any help explaining this in a easy to understand way would be appreciated. Thank you BigD

the more gap you have the more weight transfur on the the track. The less the gap less free ride or stiffer ride, it will also put more weight on the skis. I hope that helps.
