Couple questions for everyone... My oil tank was leaking over the summer, so I JB welded it and it seems to have fixed it. I also changed the oil (and filter) and made a mess with that a few weeks ago. Ever since then I've been noticing an oil leak (I think), although I'm not sure if it's just oil that I didn't get cleaned up from the filter change. The oil line that runs from the bottom of the tank to the engine seems to be moist (the section of the line under the engine - not coming off the elbow). Has anyone had that line leak? Or, do you guys think that the braided part of that line just soaked up oil from when I changed the filer?
While I was down there trying to clean up all the oil and residue yesterday (in an attempt to better track the potential oil leak), I noticed some coolant around one fitting (see picture). Is this an issue? I cleaned it up and intend to keep an eye on it, but if there is some relatively easy fix then I'll go ahead and do it. I did accidentally spill a little coolant a few weeks ago, but that was by the tank which I doubt would make it down to where this fitting is. Any suggestions?

Update: Since I cleaned the area where the coolant residue was I've started the sled twice (once last night and once this morning) and let it run for about 15 minutes each time and I didn't see anymore signs of coolant in that area.

i did the same thing when i changed my oil last year. Took the filter off
and had several oz drop into the bottom of the sled. I dripped oil for about a week and i was sure i had a leak. No leak. Throw a clean piece of card board under it to help monitor. That breaded line that goes from the tank to the bottom of the engine is oil soaked(or should i say shinny with oil) on mine to. No Leak. Got some on it when i pulled the plug on bottem of tank.
This dosn't mean you don't have a problem with your oil leaking somewhere just to say It sounds like what i've been threw.
as for the coolant haven't had any problems, and i think Ive' only read about 1 leak someone had on here that was on the top of the engine which turned out to be a leaky O-ring.
Sorry i can't be of more help to you.

Thanks! Anyone else have any ideas on the coolant issue?

Clean area with parts cleaner or brake clean and let it dry
You could pressure test the cooling system
